L.B. Security and Investigations, Inc. was established in 1979 by Nicholas D. LaBella as a family-owned security corporation. L.B. Security remains the only locally owned and operated Security Agency in Central New York. L.B. L.B. Security and Investigations, Inc. prides ourselves on being on call 24 hours a day – seven days a week and can be on site within minutes, if necessary. With 40 plus years of experience in law enforcement, management and consulting experience we expect the highest degree of job performance from each and every employee. Supervision is of the utmost importance to assure our level of service is being met. With our extensive police training and background we are tied into security information and clearances on all levels to access and make judgments appropriate to the proper selection of trained security personnel. We employ over 200 uniformed, trained, and professional security officers, both armed and unarmed.
L.B. Security and Investigations, Inc. is bonded by the State of New York, maintains a Five Million-Dollar Liability Insurance Program. L.B. Security meets the guidelines mandated within the Security Guard Act of 1992. L.B. Security staffs New York State Certified Training Instructors and as well as being a state approved training school. As a training school, L.B. Security is up-to-date on the most recent topics, and upcoming methods to protect the safety of the clients we serve.

Cost Advantage
L.B. Security provides each client a rate that includes fringe benefits, taxes, insurance, uniform cost, and payroll fees. When scheduling conflicts such as vacation, time off, sickness, etc. may occur, it is the responsibility of the contracting agency to fill these requests. L.B. Security has a team of highly qualified and licensed security officers to choose from, to eliminate high cost for the client to hire temporary help.
Supervision
All scheduling and placement of the guards is handled by L.B. Security, along with any disciplinary problems that may occur. This eliminates internal friction with the security officer and the client if corrective action must take place.
Immediate Response
Due to the large amount of on-staff security officers that L.B. Security provides to our clients, this allows for a volume of officers on short notice to fulfill any situation. Whether this may be an irate employee, contractual/union strikes, termination, etc. L.B. Security can assign security officers within minutes to your site.
Staffing
It is the responsibility of L.B. Security to hire all staff. This elevates pressure of the client to insure proper guard coverage, as well as guaranteeing proper security force that the client deserves.
